When: Wednesday, 07 September, 2005, 16:30 Hrs. till 18:30 Hrs.
Where: Borders Bookstore (2740 East 21st Street, Tulsa)
Why: Coffee, Snacks, & Good Conversation
Who: Hosted by the local Mensa group

Directions: South side of 21st Street between Lewis & Harvard Avenues. (Just immediately west of where the Broken Arrow Expressway (SH 51) crosses over 21st Street)

Notes: If you have friend who might be interested in becoming a member of the group, try to bring them along as a guest. This is a generally a smaller and more informal gathering then a regular monthly meeting. It could be the best way to get somebody interested enough in the group to want to take additional steps towards becoming a local member.

Where: Johnnie's Charcoal Broiler Meeting Room (5001 S. Harvard Avenue, Tulsa)
Why: A talk by Chad Greer, a federal prosecutor with the U.S. Attorney's Office in Tulsa
Who: The local Mensa Group

Directions: Located on the east side of Harvard Avenue, and the north side of the Skelly Bypass (I-44).  This building was a Shoney's restaurant in a former life.  Those approaching from the north on Harvard can cut through the parking lot of the office building that's north of the restaurant.  Restaurant phone number is 918-743-1110.

Booze: Johnnie's serves 3.2 beer
Snacks: Don't bring a thing, Johnnie's will provide a nice dinner.  Try their pies.
