This is a generally a smaller and more informal gathering then a regular monthly meeting. Details: July’s program will be a rare video treat for computerists, historians, feminists, humanists, prior military, seniors citizens ... in short, nearly everyone. It is a keynote address given at a 1986 computer conference by Admiral Grace Murray Hopper.; a pioneer in computer science who’s importance and dry wit held the audience in her thrall.

Notes: This presentation will be in the form of a DVD disk read by an appliance player connected to our video projector.  Since the projector and screen combination is unable to overcome large amounts of room illumination very well, we have chosen to do this presentation at the Full Cup Cafe where we can darken the room appropriately.

Why: To appreciate American food and trains
Details: Ollie's Station has vegetarian food available and serves breakfast all day for those that want it.  This restaurant recently received a write-up in the Tulsa World Spot, June 17th issue.

Directions: Located on Southwest Boulevard a few blocks from where the road changes from being mostly N-S in direction to being SW-NE in direction.  One easy way to find this address is to go west on 21st.  As you continue going west past Veteran's Park, you will cross the Arkansas River on the 23rd Street bridge.  The road continues west to a stop light at Southwest Boulevard.  You will drive under an interesting pedestrian overpass prior to reaching that stoplight.  Turn to the south (left turn) onto Southwest Boulevard and proceed the address.  4070 will be on the west side of the road just before the intersection of Southwest Boulevard and West 41st Street.
